'On arrival' details and / important information / guidelines for your consideration :
a) Our waiting area is out of bounds and we would ask you to wait at the front door ( spots for standing will be marked on the floor) at the starting hour of your appointment. There is a new intercom system at the door . You can press the bell for our attention , though it is likely we will see you at the door. Any communications will be assumed through the intercom system, we will only let you in when we are ready to start the appointment. A queing system outside our shops will be standard with 2 metre distancing spots marked on the floor.
b) If you have any symptoms such as a cough or fever , loss of, or change in, normal sense of taste or smell should not attend your appointment. Please note we will refuse to provide a service if we learn that you do have symptoms.
c) At the front of door of both our salons you will find a santiser dispenser . We request that you santise your hands before entering the premises to reduce transmission. Again we will refuse your access unless you complete this transaction. If you are wearing gloves we request that you remove your gloves ,sanitise your hands ,and place your gloves in your bag or jacket pocket and do not use them untill you have left the salon. Alternatively if you're determined to keep the protective gloves on please sanitise your hands with the gloves on ie; sanitise the gloves.
d) You are now expected to wear a mask through-out your visit to C&D. When within 2 meters- Staff will be wearing PPE in the way of a mask and / or visor for the duration of the performing the service (risk mitigation ) .
e) Sadly No refreshments or magazines will be provided to minimise transmission.
f) For further safety measures and for customer and staff peace of mind we are adhering to 2 metre distancing where possible and have implemented dividing curtain sectioning in between stations and wash basins as well as perspex glass over reception area .
g) While we await confirmation from government guidelines , due to health & safety , dry haircuts may not be possible . Your stylist will advise at the appointment . Meanwhile we have allocated a x 1 haircut service for all which permits enough time for any eventualities . We are also not providing services for fringe trims / Beard trims/ undercuts unless in conjunction with a complete wash/ cut and style.
h) Please note that the option you have to leave notes on your booking is not an opportunity for you to add additional services to your booking.
We thank you kindly for your co-operation and please try to be on time for your appointment to avoid any cancellations . Our intention is to safe guard not only yourselves, but also the staff at C&D who are risking there safety getting up close to you to generate an income for themselves and make you look gorgeous!
Additional Booking info:
Due to new safety measures , most of our stylists will be restricted to part time hours while others can still not return to work due to safe guarding family members. We encourage you try other stylists in the event your favourite stylist is not available to support the business until further developments are made .
Please note all on-line bookings made will require either a £10 deposit ( for haircuts) or a £30 deposit (For colour services) to be paid in advance of 72 hours prior to the appointment time and date . We reserve the right to cancel the appointment should the deposit not be received in time.
We also reserve the right to move or reschedule any appointment to facilitate clerical demands and will aim notify you in the event such practice takes place . During COVID-19 we have lost half our team and recruited new emergency stylists to save the day - YAY!!!! We will try our best to place you with your preferred stylist - though this may not always be possible . We hope you can be understanding of the current climate .
Please note that all deposits are non-refundable, but transefrable instead where appropriate.

MAKING A BOOKING :
1: a) Select your preferred venue b) Select your desired service c) Select your preferred stylist ( Please check both venues and find out where your favourite stylist is working)
2: You will now be offered dates (highlighted) to pick from and time slots available
3: You will be given an opportunity to attach a message to your booking. Please note this is not an opportunity for you to request any extra services.
4: You will then be prompted to tap in some details to permit booking; name/number/email etc.....
5: Ensure you select ‘CONFIRM and BOOK’ at the bottom of the page at the end of the booking to ensure the booking is complete. You will receive a confirmation email & text relating to you appointment. Failing this your booking has not been successful.
Chaps & Dames prizes itself on charging the same price to both Chaps & Dames (men & women alike) Being that despite your gender you pay the same price as everyone.
The price is calculated (see price guide) depending on the extent of work that is carried out, typically as length as the main parameter of guidance.
More hair usually means more work and added styling. However as hairdressing is a complex animal , for flexibility a 15% discretionary reduction may be applied to your service depending on the complexity of the style. This also can be re-versed and we may apply an increase to the price depending on the extent of work and colour products applied to a particular service ( see our T&Cs)
Colour procedures require a skin/patch test 48 hours before application , therefore please enquire about this in advance to arrange this before the appointment date . This will extend to an include the signing of a consent form by the client.
Please note that any complaints should be made in writing to management and you should permit up to 30 days for complaints to be resolved and any refunds being initiated.

1b. Are you changing colour? Want a different one to the one you have? From dark to lighter or bleach to dark etc.?
YES - Come to the salon for consultation( compulsory)
NO - Book a regular roots / all over tint appointment or highlights / balayage / bleach
2. Is the colour still present in the hair?
YES - Come in for consultation (compulsory)
NO - Book an appointment
3: Do you wish your colour tint / highlights / balayage etc, to have a particular coloured tone or would you like a styling finish (blow-dry) to complete the service?
YES - Add a toner / blowdry to your appointment, OR call salon up and arrange it to be added to your services, OR add the message to your notes in your appointment.
NO - Don't worry about it then !
